How many years have you been involved with Special Olympics?

I have been involved with Special Olympics for 16 years.  

Why did you first get involved with Special Olympics and how has it changed your life?

I first got involved with Special Olympics because I wanted my son to be involved in sport.

What are you most looking forward to at the 2026 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games?

I am most looking forward to watching the athletes perform and hanging out with old friends and making new ones.

What is your favourite Special Olympics moment?

My favourite Special Olympics moments was watching Heidi Mallett hit a 150 yard shot to 15 ' and draining the putt on the last hole Special Olympics Canada Summer Games in 2014.

What does being a part of Team PEI 2026 mean to you?

Being a part of Team PEI 2026 brings me joy and pride.
