Biography:
Jean, from Victoria, B.C., has coached softball, swimming, basketball, and track and field for the past eight years. Jean says her involvement with Special Olympics has made her a better person and taught her to really appreciate the huge potential we all have. Jean was a volunteer at the 2015 World Games in Los Angeles. 2019 will be Jean’s first World Games as part of Team Canada. She is honoured and thrilled to officially wear the Maple Leaf and represent both Canada and Special Olympics on the world stage.
