Biography

An athlete for the past eight years, 24-year-old Gabriel has won medals at the Regional, National and the 2015 World Games. His family in Saint-Constant actively volunteer and are Gabriel’s biggest cheerleaders. Gabriel says it was always a challenge to make new friends until he joined the Special Olympics movement. He now has lots of friends. Special Olympics has also taught him to train regularly, especially in his favourite sports: athletics, weightlifting and Martial Arts. He is proud to once again represent Canada and plans to achieve personal bests in the 100m and 200m. Gabriel also enjoys dancing and cycling.
