Biography: 

Donna from Ajax, ON has been involved with Special Olympics for 17 years. She was Assistant Coach for the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles, 2015. Donna’s daughter, Victoria, is an athlete in Rhythmic Gymnastics and has participated in Figure Skating. Her son Jonathan was also an athlete in Figure Skating. Donna’s husband, Dave, is a volunteer at competitions. Donna says that Special Olympics has provided her children with many opportunities in sport and travel, to increase their confidence and meet many new friends. It has been a very rewarding experience for Donna personally. Her goals for the Special Olympics World Games, Abu Dhabi 2019 are that all the athletes reach their personal best and have a great time
