Biography: 

22-year-old Jesse from Durham Bridge, NB, has been an athlete for 11 years. Being involved with Special Olympics has helped Jesse overcome the challenges associated with an Autism diagnosis, make new friends and opened up the world of competitive swimming. Jesse won medals at both the Regional and National Games. Jesse says 2019 in Abu Dhabi will be an experience of a lifetime and the goals are to achieve a personal best and win medals. Jesse’s Mother is the Secretary for the local Capital Region Special Olympics in New Brunswick. Jesse also enjoys bowling, therapeutic horseback riding, basketball and, of course, swimming.
