Biography: 

Candice, a 38-year-old athlete from Sherwood Park, has been with Special Olympics for 20 years. She has 26 medals, including 13 Gold and 10 Silver. Through her involvement with Special Olympics and sports, Candice lost 58 lbs., has more confidence and feels better about herself. She is excited to attend her first World Games and meet new people, beat her personal best and bring home Gold. Candice’s hobbies include music, sewing, loom knitting, exercising and hanging out with family and friends.
