How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?
Nine years ago.
How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?
I have been able to compete on an equal playing field giving me a chance to also win medals!
How have you been preparing yourself for competition?
I am working towards training five days a week to prepare for competition.
What is the biggest challenge you've overcome in your life?
My biggest challenge has been in putting my fitness as a priority and learning how to properly take care of my physical health through my daily workouts.
What are some of your other hobbies and interests?
If I am not participating in sports, you will find me in the kitchen. I have a strong interest in cooking.
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
Being a part of Special Olympics and going to the World Games has me feeling really excited and I hope to win more medals!
