How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?
Almost 12 years. Joined summer of 2009.
How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?
I have made many new friends and am more fit.
How have you been preparing yourself for competition?
I train everyday. My goal is to always do my best.
What is the biggest challenge you've overcome in your life?
My biggest challenge was getting through school to graduate.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
One of the accomplishments I am most proud of is being able to attend these World Games!
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
Competition is important but the social interactions are just as important. Attending World Games provides a chance to experience new places and make new friends from around the world.
