The 2021 Coaches Symposium is returning to an in-person event. It will take place at Elk Ridge Resort from Friday, October 15th to Sunday, October 17, 2021. Dr. James Makokis and Anthony Johnson
Dr. James Makokis and Anthony Johnson are experts in the field of diversity and inclusion, specifically with the demographics of LGBTQ2+ and Indigenous populations. They educate and inform people through a storytelling method of delivery. They will present stories from history, their lives, and the paths that their professional adventures have taken them. They will deliver two sessions for us over the weekend, both will include education and awareness for inclusion and diversity. The first session will be focused on the Indigenous population while the second session will be on the LGBTQ2+ population.
