CELEBRATE A SPECIAL OCCASION!

Whether it’s an upcoming wedding, birthday or a dinner with friends – celebrate a special occasion or mark a milestone by fundraising for Special Olympics Saskatchewan. There are many ways you can support our athletes on your big day!

DONATIONS IN LIEU OF GIFTS

Nothing on your wish list this year? Give the gift of support.

1.  Share a link to donate online with family and friends. They will have the option of making their gift ‘In Honour’ of your special occasion and will receive a special e-card.

2.  Hold a Facebook Fundraiser! Facebook Fundraisers are very easy to set up and a great way to spread awareness about enriching the lives of Canadians with an intellectual disability through sport.

HOSTING A FUNDRAISER

Already hosting an event for your special occasion? Consider adding a fundraising element! The impact that you and your guests create will be all the more reason to celebrate.

Some ideas to get you started:

  • Bake sales
  • Sporting Events
  • Barbeques
  • Office holiday parties

Do you have your own unique idea for a fundraiser? We’d love to hear about it!

GIFTS IN KIND

Gifts in Kind provide Special Olympics Saskatchewan with invaluable office and sports equipment, technology and day to day goods that are essential to run our programs and services in communities across Canada. Some companies also offer their services free of charge: for instance, by printing an event program or providing professional advice. All of this reduces our overhead costs and allow us to spend more resources on our greatest priority: enriching the lives of individuals with an intellectual disability through sport.

In donating a Gift in Kind to Special Olympics Saskatchewan, we can publicize to our athletes, families, and our online community the generosity of your gift and your commitment to helping our athletes, of all ages and a wide range of abilities, to participate in programs and to experience the transformative power and joy of sport.
