How many years have you been involved with Special Olympics?

I have been a Special Olympics athlete for 4 years.

Why did you first get involved with Special Olympics and how has it changed your life?

I first got involved with Special Olympics because I wanted to meet friends and play soccer. It has changed my life by playing sports, making new friends and helping others.

What is a challenge or barrier that you have overcome?

A challenge I have overcome is learning how to communicate properly with my team.

What other sports do you participate in?

I also participate in Floorball.

What has participating in Special Olympics taught you?

Participating in Special Olympics has taught me that anyone can be apart of a team.

What are you most looking forward to at the 2026 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games?

I am looking forward to playing soccer.

What is your favourite Special Olympics moment?

My favourite Special Olympics moment was winning a silver medal at the Special Olympics World Winter Games 2024 in Calgary.

What does being a part of Team PEI 2026 mean to you?

It means everything, soccer is my favorite sport!
