Special Olympics PEI is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. This group of dedicated Islanders dedicate their time and talents to enriching the lives of Islanders with an intellectual disability through their volunteer service on our Board.
This week we wish to introduce another one of our Members at Large, Clifford Lee.
Meet Clifford Lee
Clifford Lee joined Special Olympics PEI's Board of Directors in 2019, and has served as a Member at Large ever since. Clifford is a Realtor at Provincial Realty.
Clifford has long been a support of the Special Olympics movement. He joined the Board of Directors to "allow me another opportunity to support such an important organization", he says.
When asked about his favourite Special Olympics moment, Clifford said, "I always thought that the excitement that is created at the Pep Rallies prior to Team PEI leaving for National Games was exciting and unique. The individual introductions of the athletes, coaches and volunteers and the excitement created is truly amazing. At the Pep Rallies the athletes display the true meaning of sportsmanship."
