    Special Olympics NWT Athlete & Volunteer Recognized at 2025 Sport North Awards

    Saturday May 24th, coaches, volunteers, officials, and athletes from across the Northwest Territories were celebrated for their contributions and successes to sport in the North at the 2025 Sport North Awards. Josh Boudreau was selected as the 2025 Sport North Senior Male Athlete of the Year for his impressive performance with Team Canada at the 2025 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Turin, Italy this past March. Barb Kardash was selected as the 2025 Delma Kisoun Memorial Community Contributor award recipient for her continuous involvement and dedication to Special Olympics NWT. Congratulations to both Josh and Barb for your award and being such great ambassadors of our chapter.
