How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?

I started with Special Olympics in 1996.

How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?

Special Olympics has given me confidence, friends and awesome opportunities.

How have you been preparing yourself for competition?

Six days a week. My goal is to represent Canada proudly and to do my best and hopefully win medals.

What is the biggest challenge you've overcome in your life?

It has been my biggest challenge in dealing with acceptance from others, being treated equally and having the same opportunities as my peers.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

Winning all Gold Medals at my last World Summer Games in Los Angeles, 2015.

What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?

I can't imagine my life without Special Olympics and I am proud to represent my country at the World Games. I am very grateful for this opportunity.
