How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?
Since 1995 – 26 years!
How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?
I have a positive outlook on life and I am happy.
How have you been preparing yourself for competition?
I try to train (based on COVID restrictions) at least 3-4 times per week. My goal is to successfully skate a clean program at the world games.
What is the biggest challenge you have overcome in your life?
Learning to drive, working for The Bay for 23 years, and landing all my double jumps in figure skating.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Being able to represent my country 9 times!
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
To prove that I am able to perform on the world stage and show everyone what I am able to achieve.
