How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?

I first joined Special Olympics in 2003 in track before starting cross-country skiing in 2005.

How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?

Special Olympics has taught me that playing sports is about doing the best to your ability.

How have you been preparing yourself for competition?

I train three times a week or more.

What is the biggest challenge you have overcome in your life?

My biggest challenge was the first time I was fulfilling my commitment to Special Olympics Team Canada in 2013 because I had to train at least 3 times a week prior to going to compete in Korea.

What accomplishment are you most proud of?

I was inducted into the Barrie Sports Hall Of Fame in 2018 after being winning two silver medals at Special Olympics World Winter Games in 2013.

What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?

This is my second time representing Canada. Attending games is a great way to see the world and meet new people.
