How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?
I have been involved with Special Olympics since 2012.
How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?
I have more things to look forward to. I love to compete with my team. This is the place I belong and I am accepted for my differences.
How have you been preparing yourself for competition?
I train approximately 4 to 5 times a week and my goal is to WIN.
What is the biggest challenge you have overcome in your life?
My biggest challenge has been overcoming bullying at school, and some sports injuries I’ve had.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
Making it to the World Games!
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
It means the world to me. It proves to me that all my hard work has paid off. I’ve always been focused on my goal of making it to the Special Olympics World Games.
