How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?
I first joined Special Olympics in 2018.
How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?
Special Olympics has provided me a chance to be part of a team.
How have you been preparing yourself for competition?
I am working on my strength and fitness by training several times a week.
What is the biggest challenge you've overcome in your life?
I feel that I am currently living through one of the biggest challenges; COVID-19. It has impacted all of us in one way or another and we have all had to find a way to stay connected and stay active.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
I am the most proud of my ability to ski. Since only beginning with Special Olympics just over three years ago, I believe I have improved significantly in a limited amount of time.
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
Special Olympics makes me feel like I belong. To me it means I have a team and a group of people who believe in me. I am so excited for the World Games!
