How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?
Since 2007.
How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?
Special Olympics allows me to do what I love, skiing! I have competed in many competitions and have had the chance to travel across Canada and parts of the world.
How have you been preparing yourself for competition?
I am working on training three times a week and doing my very best each time I train.
What are some of your other hobbies and interests?
I enjoy drawing, bowling, riding my bike, swimming, kayaking and going for walks.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
The accomplishments I am most proud of are within Special Olympics. I was proud to bring home medals from National Games and previous World Games too.
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
Special Olympics makes me feel like a true athlete. I am looking forward to travelling to Russia with the rest of the team and experiencing new skiing hills.
