How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?
I have been involved for eight years.
How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?
Special Olympics has given me an opportunity to be compete as an athlete and the chance to make friends.
How have you been preparing yourself for competition?
I have been committing to training three to four times a week.
What is the biggest challenge you have overcome in your life?
One of my biggest challenges and I would also say accomplishments in my personal life is learning how to drive and getting my driver’s license.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
I am proud of where I am today, how hard I compete and my overall performance as an athlete.
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
Special Olympics has given me a great joy in my day to day life. I am very proud of myself for making it this far, working really hard and being on the road to the World Games!
