How long have you been involved with Special Olympics?
I have been a part of the Special Olympics community since 2001.
How is your life different since joining Special Olympics?
Since joining Special Olympics I have been more active and have had the proper resources to be able to work on my overall well being and health.
How have you been preparing yourself for competition?
I have set a goal to become leaner and stronger in preparation for the World Games. I am doing so by training four times a week.
What is the biggest challenge you've overcome in your life?
The biggest challenge has been learning to care for my epilepsy.
What accomplishment are you most proud of?
My greatest accomplishments have been winning medals and having a better understanding of my overall health.
What does Special Olympics and attending World Games mean to you?
I am looking forward to being able to travel to another country and in meeting other Special Olympics athletes!
