  • Ontario Powerlifter Josée Seguin lifted her Personal Best in the deadlift (300 pounds), earning a gold medal overall.

  • 10-pin bowlers, track athletes and swimmers brought home more hardware.
  • Bocce player Neil MacDonald dominated over U.S.A. with a 10-1 win, then lost 6-4 against Saudi Arabia. 
  • SO Team Canada basketball players faced fierce competition with Team Israel and lost 26-4
  • Tough loss for SO Team Canada on the soccer field: 2-1 against St. Lucia (with the final goal scored in the last minute) - but the team is strong and ready to rally for its next game Monday.

  • Athletics competes in the 200-metre, 1500-metre, high jump, shot put and pentathalon events.
  • Basketball vs. U.S.A. at 2:20 p.m. GST
  • All four bocce players compete at 11:40 a.m., 12:20 p.m., 3:20 p.m. and 5:20 p.m.
  • Timmins Powerlifters Andre Goulet and Paul Perrault compete in the squat, bench press and deadlift at 11 a.m.
  • SO Team Canada golfers hit the course for their first competition day from 9:50 a.m. to 12:40 p.m.
  • Rhythmic gymnasts begin divisioning rounds.
