RCMP presents a cheque to Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics
The Fitness Health & Promotion Program for RCMP were looking to promote health and fitness as well as to help with mental health. They came up with Ocean's 13 - they would tally up every 10 minutes of fitness from people who decided to join to cover 15,300km. They added a twist by asking participants to pay $20.00 to register which would then be donated to the Law Enforcement Torch Run in their province!
"B" Division (NL) was led by Assistant Commissioner Ches Parsons to victory for the Ocean's 13 challenge!
