Special Olympics Canada: Competition-Introduction Coaching Course!!! This is now the standard minimum coaching course with Special Olympics. Currently as a coach you are able to receive one exemption from SONL to allow you to attend a competition without this course. After you have received your one exemption, you may not be able to attend that competition again until you receive this course. We have spaces open for up to 20 participants, first come first serve!
WHAT: SOC Competition-Introduction Coaching Course
FACILITATOR: Kim McDonald-Wilkes
WHERE: Woodland Primary, 18 St. Catherine Street, Grand Falls-Windsor (Gym Entrance)
WHEN: Friday Jan 24th, 2019 6:00-9:00PM & Saturday 25th 9:00-6:00PM (Could be finished as early as 4:30PM pending on number of attendees and how quickly we can move through the material)
MAXIMUM NUMBER: 20 Coaches (First come first serve)
We are asking that ALL clubs share this information with ALL the coaches in your club as this course is open to all clubs.
Clubs are responsible for their own travel, accommodations and meals during this course. There will be no reimbursements from SONL.
There will be no registration fee to attend and all materials needed will be provided by SONL.
