Experience the Joy of Sport with Special Olympics NL

At Special Olympics Newfoundland and Labrador, athletes do more than just train and compete—they build confidence, learn valuable life skills, and most importantly, have fun. We offer 16 official sports, along with a range of non-official sports through many of our Community Clubs. Our programs also include Young Athletes, Unified Sports, and Athlete Leadership opportunities.

Participation in Special Olympics opens the door to improved health, self-esteem, empowerment, and lasting friendships. For many, it’s not just about sport—it’s a pathway to a healthier, more connected life.

Across the province, our Community Clubs provide a wide variety of sport and competition opportunities tailored to the interests and needs of local athletes.
