My sport:

Figure Skating and Rhythmic Gymnastics

My favourite thing about Special Olympics:

Competitions where I can showcase my skating and gymnastics routines.

My greatest accomplishment:

I am a medalist at 2013 World Winter Games in South Korea, and 2020 National Winter Games in Thunder Bay.

How Special Olympics changed my life:

It made me have meaningful goals in my life to stay active and be happy.

How I've improved my leadership skills since joining Special Olympics:

Being a successful athlete and teammate has made me want to be a role model in my local community.

How I've been staying healthy and active at home:

I was busy doing virtual exercises every day in the spring and summer 2020. It helped me stay fit and not to feel isolated! It is always great to learn how to eat and exercise well. It is important for our wellbeing in a long life.

My favourite memory:

Everyone cheers me when I compete. My family and friends are proud and happy for me. A medal is a bonus but wonderful encouragement for tomorrow’s training.

Why you should Draft an Athlete to help us get back to the playing field:

Special Olympics programs make many people happy - more than just the athletes in this Draft. Look at my grandparents. They worry about me, but I can show them I am living my life with my fullest potential.

What I'm looking forward to most when returning to our regular Special Olympics programming:

I would like to see my coaches and peers! I will do my part to stay healthy and ready, so I can return when the world is ready for us.
