When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

1988 - It was the first year of Special Olympics in Dawson Creek. 

Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

Yes. 

What were your results in the 2019 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?

Team gold. 

What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2020?

I'm very excited to travel to a new place and compete against other athletes from across Canada.

What is your goal for these National Games?

To be at my best and help my team be successful.

What does competing at National Games mean to you?

I am happy to have the chance to compete against the best 5-pin bowlers from across Canada. 

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

It has given the opportunity to meet a lot of great coaches and athletes.  

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?

Winning the gold medal at the 2019 SOBC Games in Vernon. 

What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?

Try it, you will love it!

I have been a newspaper delivery guy for many years.
