2009.

Yes.
What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2024?
I feel very honoured to be able to work with SO Team BC, a bit scared too.
What is/are your goal(s) for these National Games?
Make sure everyone on SO Team BC will be safe and sound, and all our athletes will do their best and have fun.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
When I see athletes take care of each other.
What does competing at National Games mean to your athletes? (or, if this is your first National Games, competition in general)
They can show the rest of Canada that B.C. athletes are the best.
What storylines are you excited to see develop in your SO Team BC sport team leading up to the National Games?
They will work their hardest to improve themselves for the competition and develop great friendships along the way.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
Just come out for one practice and you will see why so many of us are that dedicated to these athletes, and you will also want to be part of it.
