1998, enrolled my daughter Bridget in her first programs.
What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2024?
The experience to share our athletes' accomplishments.
What is/are your goal(s) for these National Games?
For our curling team to experience National Games and demonstrate their abilities.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Going to National and World Games as coach and supporter is extremely uplifting to see athletes perform and demonstrate their athletic skills and teamwork.
What does competing at National Games mean to your athletes? (or, if this is your first National Games, competition in general)
I think it is preparing athletes to do their best on a national stage.
What storylines are you excited to see develop in your SO Team BC sport team leading up to the National Games?
Profiling athletes in their accomplishments leading up to the National Games and what it means to them.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
The thrill of witnessing persons with intellectual disabilities.
