When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

Over 10 years ago when I signed my son up for Special Olympics

Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games were you part of and in what role(s)?

This will be my first National Games.

What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2024?

Feel honoured to be coaching a team that is representing B.C. at the Games.

What is/are your goal(s) for these National Games?

To support my athletes through their training journey to National Games and create a fun and positive experience for them during competition.

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?

Watching my son bowl a 395 (10 strikes 2 spares) during our regular SOBC bowling season this year.

What does competing at National Games mean to your athletes? (or, if this is your first National Games, competition in general)

I think they are all quite excited & proud to be representing B.C. in 5-pin bowling.

What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?

You'll get as much as or more from the experience than you give, it's very rewarding.
