When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
Started coaching for Special Olympics in 2017. My son is a Special Olympics athlete so the transition to coaching was natural for me.

Yes.
What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2024?
It is an honour to be part of this amazing group that not everyone gets to experience.
What is/are your goal(s) for these National Games?
To coach to the best of my ability that respects and honours my athletes and Special Olympics as a whole.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
The 2023 SOBC Provincial Games in Kamloops.
What does competing at National Games mean to your athletes? (or, if this is your first National Games, competition in general)
This is the first National Games for my athletes and needless to say they are totally stoked.
What storylines are you excited to see develop in your SO Team BC sport team leading up to the National Games?
SO Team BC excels and personal bests drop like flies.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
Get involved, your life and outlook on it will be changed.
