When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I got involved in Special Olympics when I was in high school.
Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
I have done both summer and winter Nationals Games.I competed in athletic and cross country skiing.
What were your results in the 2023 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?
I competed in both skate and classic skiing. My times were pretty good.
What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2024?
Just bring a mentor for all our new athletes on this team.
What is your goal for these National Games?
My goal for this National Games is to do my best and take on the world team.
What does competing at National Games mean to you?
Competing and fun and meeting all the other competitors.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I will be competing in cross country skiing. What I like about this sport is that I go against men.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I like riding bikes and cooking. And I'm also a member of the Special Olympics BC Hall of Fame and Central Okanagan Hall of Fame.
