When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
When we were 13 my mom saw an ad in the paper while I was living in Ladysmith.
Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
No. I competed in swimming in Nova Scotia.
What were your results in the 2023 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?
I got two seconds and a third and felt very happy.
What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2024?
Very happy and excited.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To go to World Games.
What does competing at National Games mean to you?
Means a lot.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I enjoy the speed while skiing.
What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?
Pretty much everything is amazing.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
Very knowledgeable and I enjoy travelling.
