Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

Yes.

What were your results in the 2023 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?

I got my first gold medal in Kamloops for curling.

What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2024?

Proud and I get to meet new friends.

What is your goal for these National Games?

Winning my first gold medal for SO Team BC.

What does competing at National Games mean to you?

Very motivated and proud to be a part of SO Team BC for the first time.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

To be a great team member and win gold.

What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?

I would tell them to get involved and learn lots about our sports and tournaments.

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

I would have to say I feel very happy being involved with Special Olympics and I get to meet new athletes and win medals.

What is one word you would use to describe yourself? :)
