When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
Not sure.
Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
I went to Newfoundland for the National Winter Games in 2016 and I also went to Thunder Bay for the National Winter Games in 2020 and competed in floor hockey.
What were your results in the 2023 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?
It felt great.
What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2024?
Being part of SO Team BC means a lot to me because I get to travel with my teammates and I also get to compete against other teams in floor hockey.
What is your goal for these National Games?
My goal for the National Games in Calgary is to play hard and have fun. Competing in the National Games is to do my best in competition and also competing against other teams.
What does competing at National Games mean to you?
Competing in the National Games is to do my best in competition and also competing against other teams.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I really enjoy playing floor hockey because I get to travel, compete against other teams, and meet friends.
What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?
I would tell somebody that Special Olympics is a lot of fun and you get to compete in different sports and also travel to places to play against other teams and to have fun.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I'm very competitive and really good at doing sport so that's what I want people to know about me.
