When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

The teacher's aid began rhythmic gymnastics in 1993.

Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

I competed in skiing in 2008 and 2020.

What were your results in the 2023 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?

Two silvers and one bronze, which was good – but I want to do better.

What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2024?

Great, as I want to make it to World Games. I have never been as I qualified in 2021.

What is your goal for these National Games?

To have fun and make it to World Games.

What does competing at National Games mean to you?

I am proud to be on Special Olympics Team BC.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

I can go fast and I have fun.

What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?

It is good to do a sport and have fun and meet new people.

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

I am outgoing I love my sports and hiking.
