When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
2004.
Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
No. I competed in 2010 for bowling and 2014 for golf.
What were your results in the 2023 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?
We got a gold medal. We just went out there and had some fun.
What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2024?
Looking forward to showing what BC athletes can do.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To have fun and to maybe win a medal.
What does competing at National Games mean to you?
Years of hard work and dedication.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I enjoy being on the ice making shots and learning strategies.
What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?
Give it a try you will meet so many incredible people whether athletes or volunteers.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I like riding bikes and cooking and all Special Olympics sports.
