Grant opportunities for SOBC Locals

Grants are a great opportunity to raise funds for a specific project or need. Listed below are potential funders for SOBC programs throughout the province. 

When searching for a grant, make sure to check the grant application requirements, what they will fund, the application deadlines, and reporting requirements.

Hosting BC grant

Funded by viaSport British Columbia, the Hosting BC grant provides funding for sport events taking place in communities throughout British Columbia. Single-sport competitions involving multiple Locals, including Regional Qualifiers, are eligible for funding. Please note that multi-sport Games and competitions that do have a confirmed date are ineligible.

This grant opens for applications approximately every three to four months, so check the website regularly to see when you can apply!
