Keep Inclusion Within Reach

Keep Inclusion
This Giving Tuesday, help Special Olympics BC build belonging.

Inclusion is the greatest gift you can give

Everyone deserves a place to find purpose, to celebrate victories, and to belong.

As we approach Giving Tuesday on December 2, 2025, you can help British Columbians with intellectual and developmental disabilities find those essential experiences in Special Olympics.

Special Olympics BC is more than sport – it is a community where everyone is accepted, supported, and celebrated for their abilities.

But too many Special Olympics athletes and their families struggle with high costs and financial burdens. We need your help to ensure that all athletes have access to the meaningful opportunities and competitions that matter so much to their health and wellbeing – regardless of their financial situations.

Your Impact
Each gift helps Special Olympics BC create low-to-no-cost programming where athletes build skills, friendships, and lifelong connections all year round.

Build belonging for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities

Arabella Wallace is a joyful and determined young athlete in Special Olympics BC’s Active Start program, cheered on by her proud parent, Janelle Wallace.

We find there's a lack of inclusivity with general sports in the community for kids with special needs ... In Active Start and Special Olympics, she can be part of a community and be involved in sports the same way her peers can.

Special Olympics BC Active Start and FUNdamentals programs empower children with intellectual and developmental disabilities to explore movement, gain confidence, and experience the joy of learning in a supportive, inclusive environment.
