SOBC Healthy Athletes Screening Day

Register and join us for the first in-person Special Olympics BC Healthy Athletes event since 2019! This event will be held on December 5 at Douglas College's New Westminster campus.

Because of venue capacity and safety standards, advance registration is required and spots are limited. Sign up soon to ensure your access to these helpful screenings from welcoming, supportive volunteer health practitioners! In addition to the screenings, this event will include a special appearance by a Special Olympics Global Ambassador!

This event will include three kinds of Healthy Athletes screenings:

Participants will attend in one of three time slots:

  • 9 to 11 a.m.
  • 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • 2 to 4 p.m.

Participants must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and must wear masks in the venue.

Limited spots remain available. If you are interested in attending, please contact SOBC Health Coordinator Steph Stresing at sstresing@specialolympics.bc.ca.

Just a reminder: We ask that if you register for a session, you show up for it! We understand that schedules change, but if this is the case, please let the organizer know that you are no longer able to join. By letting us know that you can not attend, this will give us the opportunity to let another athlete attend in your place. Thank you for your cooperation!
