When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I started when I was 16. I learned about it through another Special Olympics athlete.
Will these be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, which other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
This will be my first National Games.
What were your results in the 2019 Special Olympics BC Winter Games? How did you feel about your performance?
I felt that I accomplished something that I've wanted to do and felt that I did very well in the Winter Games.
What does it mean to you to be part of Special Olympics Team BC 2020?
It means doing my best and doing what I can to be part of Team BC.
What is your goal for these National Games?
Trying my best.
What does competing at National Games mean to you?
Having fun.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
Rolling the ball, "just roll with it."
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Winning a gold medal at the Provincial Games in Vernon.
What would you tell someone about Special Olympics to encourage them to get involved?
Bowling is a lot of fun and you meet a lot of new people.
What other Special Olympics sports do you participate in?
Basketball.

I have a bubbly personality and I am always smiling. You will never see me without a smile on my face.
