Fill the stands to be inspired by Special Olympics athletes letting their brilliance shine! All events are free to attend, no tickets required! Please note that all schedules are subject to change due to sport and operational needs.

10-Pin Bowling:

  • Location: Strike Zone Bowling and Mini Golf Centre (2366 Westwood Dr)
  • Competition time: Shift One 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Shift Two 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Competition time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Competition time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Competition time: 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 
  • Medal Ceremonies: 1:15 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. 

Track and Field

  • Location: Masich Place Stadium (2121 Massey Dr)
  • Competition time: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 
  • Medal Ceremonies: 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. 

Activities

Special Olympics Healthy Athletes Screenings   

  • Visit times are planned around athlete sports schedules. Friday screenings are only for SOBC Games athletes. Everyone with intellectual and developmental disabilities can attend on Saturday. See the Saturday schedule for details.

Special Olympics BC Games Merchandise Sales  

  • Location: Civic Centre
  • Time: 12 to 8 p.m.

Civic Centre Medal Ceremonies for Powerlifting, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Bowling, Softball Skills

  • Location: Civic Centre (808 Canada Games Way)
  • Powerlifting and Softball Skills Medals: 9:45 a.m.
  • Rhythmic Gymnastics Medals: 2:15 p.m.
  • Bowling Medals: 4 p.m.

SOBC Games Merchandise Sales  

Victory Dance

  • For SOBC Games participants only, no public access. Games merchandise sales will be available from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Law Enforcement Torch Run Final Leg for the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games

Location: Begin at Prince George RCMP Detachment, end at CN Centre
Time: 10 a.m. to approx. 12 p.m.

Cheer on law enforcement members and Special Olympics athletes as they run the Flame of Hope across Prince George to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics, and prepare to light the 2025 SOBC Games cauldron on July 10! Join us at the end of the Final Leg (parking lot of the CN Centre) and enjoy a BBQ lunch by donation. SOBC Games and LETR merch will also be available for sale at the ending location.

Thursday, July 10 

Opening Ceremony

Location: CN Centre
Start: 7:30 p.m. 

Everyone is encouraged to attend and cheer for the Special Olympics BC summer sports teams that are so excited to come together from across the province for the first time since 2017! Join us for an evening of entertainment and inspiration.

SOBC Games merchandise will be on sales at this location from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
