On December 17, Metro Unified Athletics is hosting their annual Bocce Bonanza at the Dome at Foote Field (11601 68 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB). The event runs from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Unified Sports joins people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team. It is inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding. This program is made available in Alberta through the partnership between Alberta Schools’ Athletic Association and Special Olympics Alberta.
