We are back! The 2022 Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity to support Special Olympics Alberta athletes by plunging your way virtually!
Each year, the Polar Plunge challenges hundreds of brave jumpers at numerous locations around the province. It’s a great way for everyone - individuals, organizations, and teams - to get involved in supporting Special Olympics Alberta.
All funds raised go towards supporting programming for more than 3,000 athletes across the province.
Think you have what it takes? The concept is simple: each participant registers for $50, raises donations, and takes a dip in-person or virtually in a safe and creative way.
A virtual plunge gives you an opportunity to bring the spirit of the Polar Plunge into your own home.
Similar to 2021, you can Plunge Your Way anytime between January 30 and March 12– from taking a dip in an ice bath to hitting a backyard slip and slide, the opportunities are endless.
