Titanium Man

JD has been training to complete a long-distance Iron Man triathlon and if that wasn't already an incredible feat, JD had a titanium hip replacement a few years ago making him more than just a potential Iron Man!

JD has graciously decided to use this opportunity to fundraise and has chosen Special Olympics Alberta as the charity of choice!

JD will start the Titanium Man at Stafford Lake around 6 AM on September 4th with a 4km swim. After a chilly swim, JD will bike 181.4km from Stafford Lake to Cardston and back to Lethbridge. He will then complete a run of 42.3km around Lethbridge and end at the police station to complete an outstanding 227.7km!

His journey will raise funds and awareness for athletes with intellectual disabilities here in Alberta, so join us in supporting this real-life superhero, JD the Titanium Man.
