Special Olympics PEI has received financial support from PEI Union of Public Sector Employees through the UPSE Has a Heart Campaign. The PEI Union of Public Sector Employees has been a longtime supporter of Special Olympics PEI, and Special Olympics PEI is grateful for this ongoing support.
The 2018 contribution of UPSE Has a Heart Campaign is supporting the Team PEI 2018 Booster Club. The Booster Club allows local businesses and individuals to sponsors athletes in their communities, while showcasing their support for Special Olympics. UPSE has been a longtime supporter of softball athlete Chris MacPherson. This donation will help offset the costs of the 2018 National Summer Games for Team PEI athletes like Chris.
