Special Olympics PEI is pleased to acknowledge the financial support of the PEI Automobile Dealers Association (PEIADA) over the last 30 years. Following the PEIADA’s 2017 contribution, the cumulative amount donated to Special Olympics PEI over the past 30 years totals $191,725. This year’s donation totaled $13,375.

Special Olympics PEI is the charity of choice of the Prince Edward Island Automobile Dealers Association (PEIADA). This year marks the 30th anniversary of PEIADA’s April Car Campaign, when Dealer Members remit to the PEIADA office, a sum of money for every vehicle sold/leased during the month of April. This money goes towards a collective donation to Special Olympics PEI. Coupled with the proceeds garnered from a live auction of several items at our Annual Golf Tournament and Lobster/Beef Dinner, PEIADA has donated a total of $191,725.00 over the past thirty years.

Speaking about the 30 year partnership, Charity Sheehan, Executive Director of Special Olympics PEI expressed sincere thanks to the PEIADA, adding “the financial contributions of the PEI ADA over the past 30 years have translated into many programs, many competitions and many memories being made. Partnerships of this magnitude deserve to be celebrated and highlighted. On behalf of all of our athletes, we send a sincere thank you to all of the Dealer Members and to the PEI ADA for believing in the Special Olympics movement.”
