Special Olympics PEI invites you to help us celebrate the Enriching Lives Gala in support of the Special Olympics Festival.
The Enriching Lives Gala, taking place on Monday, June 26th, 2017, is the largest annual fundraiser for Special Olympics PEI. Funds raised support over 350 athletes with an intellectual disability across Prince Edward Island. This very special evening consists of a Gala Dinner as well as a Live and a Silent Auction at the Delta Prince Edward Hotel.
Special Olympics’ vision is that sport will open hearts and minds towards people with an intellectual disability and create inclusive communities all across Canada. Using the medium of sport, Special Olympics PEI assists persons with an intellectual disability to become all that they can be - physically, mentally, socially, emotionally - and to become accepted, respected and productive members of society. Our goal is to provide sport opportunity to every individual with an intellectual disability across PEI. We do not exclude any potential athlete because of financial constraint. Special Olympics PEI is a registered not-for-profit charity.
Celebrities confirmed to be attending the 2017 Enriching Lives Gala include Ottawa Senators Defenseman Dion Phaneuf, TV Personality and former host of Canada AM, Jeff Hutcheson, 2-Time Stanley Cup Winning Head Coach, Darryl Sutter, Head Coach and VP Player Development for the Island Storm, Joe Salerno, Founder of Special Olympics Canada, Dr. Frank Hayden, and Special Olympics PEI Male and Female Athletes of the Year, Art Smith (Charlottetown) and Janet Charchuk (Alberton). If you would like to support the Enriching Lives Gala, please consider purchasing a corporate table of 8, or individual tickets, to the event. Tickets for the Gala are $110 each or $880 for a corporate table. Ticket buyers who purchase a table at the Gala also receive 2 tickets to a private reception to meet the celebrities before dinner.
