Team Alberta 2018 Draft an Athlete

Draft an Athlete Jodi Tanagami

Team Alberta athletes across the province have been running lines, doing wall sits and fine tuning their technique to be able to perform their best and proudly represent the province.

Having Draft an Athlete partners allows our Special Olympics Alberta athletes to focus on achieving their personal bests and follow their dreams whether it be getting to compete on a world stage or ongoing health and sport in their community.

Draft an Athlete ensures that there is no financial barrier to be part of Team Alberta and secures quality training and tools for athletes to reach their best performance. The programs directly supports the costs of coach resources, training, travel, accommodations and uniforms.

With 148 athletes from 26 Albertan communities, Draft an Athlete allows companies and community members to support and celebrate talented Special Olympics Alberta athletes.

A contribution of $1,000 will draft one athlete on Team Alberta.

Draft an Athlete gets you up-close and personal with Team Alberta athletes!

When you draft an athlete, you share the journey with that athlete through exclusive invites to events, possible athlete visits and invitations to the Team Alberta send off. Draft members also receive Team Alberta pins to show off pride and company or name recognition in the Team Alberta's newsletter and website.
