How do I know when I am scheduled to shifts?

Shifts will be assigned starting in March 2018. You will be notified by email or telephone.

How do I get assigned to a position?

You are assigned to a position based on the information you provided to us in your application. You can login to your volunteer profile to make any changes to your interests and availability.

WHEN WILL I BE CONTACTED?

You will be notified in late March/early April about the General Orientation Session in April and any specific training dates required for specific position(s).

I am available now to volunteer, how do I help?

Please contact the Lead, Volunteer Services at 2018bowlingvol@specialolympics.ca if you are interested in volunteering before May 2018.

What color shorts/pants do I wear with my uniform?

Volunteers are required to wear solid color bottoms. They must be professional looking. No cut offs permitted. A shirt will be provided to each volunteer to wear during their shift(s).

What hours do the events occur?

We are asked volunteers to identify their times based on a portion of the day: morning, afternoon, evening, overnight.

Is there medical on site when I volunteer?

Yes there will be assistance available on site should anyone require medical attention.
